May 7, 2026 Update
Hello to all of our TEACH Tech families,
We are nearing the end of Semester 2, Week 16, with only five weeks left before summer! As we look toward the conclusion of the school year, it is important to take stock of the wonderful things that have happened at our high school this year.
Extracurricular Highlights
Our campus has been buzzing with activity and talent:
-
Athletics: Coach Williams led the successful return of football to the RAMS, spurring a swell of school spirit and pride.
-
The Arts: Mr. Antonio has cultivated the musical skills of many students through bi-weekly Wind Instrument Tutoring.
-
Media: Mr. Lezak’s Film & Media elective has brought out the budding filmmaker in many of our students.
Academic Milestones
By now, the majority of our Seniors who applied to colleges and universities have received their acceptance letters. They are ready to take that monumental step toward higher education and adulthood.
Next week, our Juniors will take the CAASPP exams. These are vital assessments that test knowledge in math, reading, and writing; they also serve as a measure of our work as educators here at TTCHS. Additionally, many of our Advanced Placement students recently completed their National AP exams. These assessments are notoriously rigorous, but we know our students are up to the task. Passing these exams provides "breathing room" in college, as students can earn exemptions from required introductory courses. We wish them all the best!
Freshman Progress
We are also excited to see the ongoing growth of our Freshman class in character development and behavior. Through our partnership with National CARES, our Freshmen receive mentoring twice a week during Learning Lab, and the positive results are truly shining through.
Closing Thoughts
In closing out Week 16, I want to take a moment to extend my deepest gratitude to our faculty and staff. Their tireless efforts and "over-the-top" dedication make TTCHS a high school we can all be proud of.
Rise up, RAMS!
