Hello TEACH Family,

We are beginning Week 7 of the second semester and have just completed our first Progress Report. Please remember that progress reports are simply a snapshot of current performance and can improve with effort and support.

Many students attended Saturday School to make up missing work, and five more sessions remain (3/14, 4/11, 4/25, 5/16, 6/6). Progress reports will continue to be sent on the 8th of each month. Families are encouraged to contact teachers and take advantage of Saturday School to support grade improvement.

We also have exciting events happening at TTCHS. Ms. Haydel recently accompanied students to a women’s leadership forum at the LA County Courthouse. On Wednesday, 2/25, we will host “Way to Go Wednesdays,” recognizing Semester 1 Honor Roll students and those showing the most growth on NWEA testing—with a fun whipped cream pie celebration for select students.

On Saturday, 2/28 at 5 PM, our RAMS Cheer Squad will perform at halftime during the Southbay Lakers G-League game at the UCLA Health Training Center.

Looking ahead, seniors will participate in NAEP testing in Reading and Math on March 17. We are confident they will do their best.
